Welcome to 4th Grade! I am so excited for a new school year. We will begin with classroom rules, procedures and expectations. In History, we will find out all about California's 4 regions. Students will review and write their book report on The Trumpet of the Swan. In Literature, we will begin reading Island of the Blue Dolphins.

• August 27th - 11am-12pm Meet the Teacher

• August 28th - First Day of School

• August 29th - Sacramento field trip deposit money due

• September 1st - Labor Day No School

• September 8th - staff meeting (no study or academic support) 

• September 12th - Back to School Morning 8-10am

• September 19th - Grandparents' Day 8-10am, recite at assembly
